A delegation from Concordia University Wisconsin visits SNUTC to discuss intercollegiate exchanges and cooperation on October 20, 2015. Dr. David Birner, executive director of International Education of CUW, Dr. Theodore King, director of Rehabilitation Science program and Ms. Christine Kao, director of Asia Pacific Region were invited to visit SNUTC. Ye Caifu, principal of SNUTC, Shi Wen, vice principal of SNUTC and teachers of SOM and others attended the meeting. The two sides signed a memorandum of cooperation and willing to have deep cooperation in aspects of cooperative education, student exchanges and teacher exchanges.
After the meeting, Ms. Christine Kao introduced international student exchanges program of CUW to students from SOM. She said that if our students have the willing they could have the opportunity to go to the United States for one semester and both sides have mutual recognition of credits and have the opportunity to practice in the local enterprises.
The Concordia University has the most number of branch campuses of Higher Education in the United States private schools. It has ten branch campuses totally and Concordia University-Wisconsin (CUW) is one of them, which is founded in 1881 and located in the state of Wisconsin and has 127 years history and is the largest branch campus in the Concordia University and its excellent alumni are spreading all over the world. Since the school is recognized as one of the most secure campus in the United States (Top 10), most of the students enrolled in the school came from noble families of Europe and white American families. CU-Wisconsin has School of business, engineering, law and medicine and is a famous American university recognized by the six major associations in US and approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education. Former U.S. President George W. Bush won the CU-Wisconsin honorary doctorate on May 14, 2004 and attended the graduation ceremony and delivered a speech.
